CAMP COLLECTIVELY
Set up your basecamp at a group camp site immersed in Jefferson Memorial Forest's Horine Reservation with a group of excellent fellow humans. Then, kick back, hike the adjacent trails, and/or hop to the many nearby attractions of Louisville.
HANG WITH CAMP COHORTS
- Bathe in the sounds of the trees and scents of conifers.
- Explore the Forest's nearly 50 miles of trails by hiking, trail running, and mountain cycling.
- Bring instruments and vocal chords for campfire jams.
- Work on an art project in a natural creative space.
- Carpool 20 minutes to The Parklands for paddling, fishing, paved hiking/cycling, and more.
- Carpool 20 minutes to catch a show at the Kentucky Center in downtown Louisville.
- Carpool 20 minutes to party in The Highlands.
- Whatever you feel like doing....

FOREST TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Quiet time = 11pm to 6am - Check out is 12 noon on Sunday - Adhere to Covid-19 Guidance - No vehicles on grass! - Fires only in established rings/grills - Campers may pick up downed limbs but not from other campsites. - Delivered firewood can be ordered for $12.50/20 pieces of split log any day before 11am. - All trash must be removed from the campsite. - Parking limited to two vehicles per site; additional vehicles must park in the lot. - No use of the Horine Conference Cntr - No alcohol... |
